We've all had those mornings. Wake up late, get dressed in the dark and chug some orange juice out of the carton and speed to work looking like a (less than) hot mess. When in a rush, or just plain being lazy, styling your hair is usally the last thing you want to do. But you CAN rock the ponytail without looking like you just hopped off the track and here are some helpful hints to get you going.
-Spary with some texturizer and give your hair a scrunch
-Tease the roots to give it some oomph
-Try styling just the bangs before you put it up. A little curl can go a long way.
-Rock a blingin headband
-Do the poof with your bangs (just stay away from Snooki-status height on it)
-Or go with straight back and sleek, with some fancy earrings

Get Inked-Tights with Sass
Good morning! Today when procrastinating my piles and piles of Bio and Physics homework, I came across this awesome trend on Wanelo (becoming my newest obsession) and I am really having trouble restraining myself from ordering every single pair of these awesome finds.
Its like having a tattoo, without actually having to get one, and being able to change it every day.
Tattoo Socks are made in Israel and being sold by the thousands on Etsy. Its an ink you won't have to hesitate about.
Let me know what you think!
Back to Bio,
xoxo Chelsea

Photo-spiration: Tribal Takeover
Hey loves! It has been forever, but I am back doing regular blog posts now. Its taken me a while to get settled into my new school but I am here and loving it and ready for a great year. Yay!
Now back to fashion. This fall it is all about bold colors and even bolder prints. Ditch the wimpy plaids and go big print or go home! Tribal prints are huge right now and the runway is filled with a tribal takeover, so get funky and have a good time with your accessories, nails, bags, shorts and tops. Feather extensions are much more mainstream but still a do for the fall, paired with some funky glad sandals and war-like jewelry. Here's some photo-spiration for the day. Let me know what you think :)

Eco Meets Etsy: TrashN2Tees
Hey guys! Switching it up this week with my featured Etsy Seller post on a Tuesday :O I know, I know, getting a little too crazy over here but I've been meaning to post this for a while so here it goes!
Many of you read my post about Bejeweled's Eco-Friendly Packaging way back in June, and as I mentioned in the article it was inspired by a Handmadeology guest post by Jenelle, creator of the shop TrashN2Tees.
Jenelle's shop is absolutely one of the cutest and coolest Etsy shops I have found, and definitely one of the most original. Her game? Making functional products out of recycled material from old tee shirts (and other things). She makes bracelets, earrings, new shirts, scarves, and my favorite the adorable produce bags.
Make sure to read the interview after the jump and check out TrashN2Tees on Etsy, Facebook, TrashN2Tees Blog and her Twitter. Happy reading xoxo Chelsea

Hottest Color of the Fall Runways:Phlox
hey everybody! Its been a while, but I just wanted to give you a little update about whats been going on and then on with the post.
Life's been super busy lately with jewelry parties, working, designing and getting ready to go back to school (while trying to manage having my social life on top of all that) but I finally got a day off today and I wanted to make sure my bloggees got some love :) New website will be launching soon, super exciting!! And I'm so looking forward to all the new designs for my holiday line that I will be launching soon. Woot Woot!
Ok so on to the important stuff. The Panatone Fashion Color Forecast is out for the Fall Season (back to school shopping anyone??) and I am OBSESSED with the "it" color of the fall "Phlox". Along with quarry grey, deep teal, coffee liquor, ember glow, and the "Color of the Year" Honey Suckle Pink. If you are a fellow Etsian, make sure you have these colors in your tag words because people will be searching :)
Phlox is just such an amazing bright purple hue and I am so excited to sport it this fall. Its royal, outspoken, and absolutely fab. Here is some daily inspiration on how to rock the phlox.
Let me know which ones you like best :D

Skin-spiration: Cassie
I started watching BBC Skins over again this summer because I was addicted the first time around and this time as I watch I am getting so much fashion inspiration from these kids! Today I am totally feeling the Cassie vibe, vintage, ecclectic, girly, red lipstick, silly, and whatever. Her style is unmatchable and literally straight out of a Salvation Army, but she pulls it all together like a champ.
For those of you who don't watch the show, Cassie is a recovering anorexic, pill-popper, nomad, flower child, and just a total wack-a-doodle, but she is so great and such a sweet heart.
Here is my daily dose of Cassie inspiration for you all...enjoy!

Get the Look: Plain, Patterned, Perfect
Good morning and Happy Thursday! Today is my first day off in over a week and I am so excited to relax and lay by the pool...AFTER I catch up on laundry, jewelry orders, running errands in town, and lunch with my amazing boyfriend who unfortunately got stuck working in the hot sun all day. Prepping myself for work tomorrow, its going to be SO HOT.
Anyways, I found this adorable outfit photo duo on Weheartit.com today and I immediately fell in love with the heart print shorts. I've been on the hunt for a cute, flattering pair of print shorts all summer, and I have to say it is not an easy game. A lot of people are wary of prints below the waist, because it can accentuate all the wrong areas, but if done right it can be a really fun staple to your summer wardrobe.
Pair it up with a Fishtail Braid, Cute summer sunglasses, some arm candy and you're all set!
Leopard Shorts-Forever 21- $15.80
Blazer by J. Jill- $39.99
Classic Tee with a Twist-Old Navy-$22.99
Hidden Platform Pumps-Alloy-$19.99
Happy shopping!

What I really love about this look is that it is sophisticated, chic, sexy, and classy all rolled in one. Generally, the classy girls rule of thumb is if you're going to show off one section, you generally should keep the others covered. Short shorts and heels may seem a bit too much, but when paired with an oversized crew neck and a blazer, its instantly cute.
