Photo-spiration: Tribal Takeover

Hey loves! It has been forever, but I am back doing regular blog posts now. Its taken me a while to get settled into my new school but I am here and loving it and ready for a great year. Yay!

Now back to fashion. This fall it is all about bold colors and even bolder prints. Ditch the wimpy plaids and go big print or go home! Tribal prints are huge right now and the runway is filled with a tribal takeover, so get funky and have a good time with your accessories, nails, bags, shorts and tops. Feather extensions are much more mainstream but still a do for the fall, paired with some funky glad sandals and war-like jewelry. Here's some photo-spiration for the day. Let me know what you think :)

Eco Meets Etsy: TrashN2Tees

Hey guys! Switching it up this week with my featured Etsy Seller post on a Tuesday :O I know, I know, getting a little too crazy over here but I've been meaning to post this for a while so here it goes!

Many of you read my post about Bejeweled's Eco-Friendly Packaging way back in June, and as I mentioned in the article it was inspired by a Handmadeology guest post by Jenelle, creator of the shop TrashN2Tees.

Jenelle's shop is absolutely one of the cutest and coolest Etsy shops I have found, and definitely one of the most original. Her game? Making functional products out of recycled material from old tee shirts (and other things). She makes bracelets, earrings, new shirts, scarves, and my favorite the adorable produce bags.

Make sure to read the interview after the jump and check out TrashN2Tees on Etsy, Facebook, TrashN2Tees Blog and her Twitter. Happy reading xoxo Chelsea

Hottest Color of the Fall Runways:Phlox

hey everybody! Its been a while, but I just wanted to give you a little update about whats been going on and then on with the post.

Life's been super busy lately with jewelry parties, working, designing and getting ready to go back to school (while trying to manage having my social life on top of all that) but I finally got a day off today and I wanted to make sure my bloggees got some love :) New website will be launching soon, super exciting!! And I'm so looking forward to all the new designs for my holiday line that I will be launching soon. Woot Woot!

Ok so on to the important stuff. The Panatone Fashion Color Forecast is out for the Fall Season (back to school shopping anyone??) and I am OBSESSED with the "it" color of the fall "Phlox". Along with quarry grey, deep teal, coffee liquor, ember glow, and the "Color of the Year" Honey Suckle Pink. If you are a fellow Etsian, make sure you have these colors in your tag words because people will be searching :)

Phlox is just such an amazing bright purple hue and I am so excited to sport it this fall. Its royal, outspoken, and absolutely fab. Here is some daily inspiration on how to rock the phlox.
Let me know which ones you like best :D
